For more than 50 years Variety Club Children's Charity has been helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in Ireland.We provide Sunshine Coaches, electric wheelchairs, bringing children on day trips, equip children's hospitals and help in many other ways. This is made possible because sponsors and volunteers from many walks of life give generously of their time and money, supported by celebrities in the showbusiness world.

 Variety the Children’s Charity, Tent 41 honoured Michael Flatley with the Variety ‘Entertainer of the Decade’ Award on the 25th April 2008.
He celebrated with his beautiful wife Niamh, his Father and Mother, brother and sister, Father in Law Tommy and Monica 0’Brien and extended family and relations and many friends were all there to celebrate with Michael his achievements.
