Simon Delaney

Variety Ireland Patron


In December 2012 Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland announced Simon Delaney as our new Patron.
A renowned actor both here and abroad, Simon is a well known face on stage and screen. Simon’s TV credits include Bachelor’s Walk, Roy, The Good Wife and Moone Boy. On the big screen he has appeared alongside Sean Penn in This Must Be The Place and with Vince Vaughn in The Delivery Man.
Simon is a very familiar face on both Irish TV and movie screens, as well as radio and we are so deligthed to have him as part of our team!

Derek O’Neill

Variety International Ambassador


For over 20 years, Derek O’Neill has been transforming the lives of thousands of people around the world. An internationally acclaimed author, motivational speaker, martial arts sensei and philanthropist, Derek inspires and uplifts people from all walks of life through his books, workshops, consultations, speaking engagements, multimedia, and tireless humanitarian work.
Derek became involved in Variety Ireland a number of years ago and was presented with the prestigious Humanitarian Award at the 2012 Variety World Conference in Dublin.

Kamal Ibrahim

Variety Ireland Ambassador


In 2010, Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland welcomed Kamal Ibrahim as a new Ambassador.
Following a successful career as one of Ireland’s most successful male models, Kamal scooped the prestigious title of Mister World 2010. Kamal continues to play a major role in the annual Mister World competition and co-hosted Miss World 2013.
He is now a familiar face on Irish television and has taken part in Charity ICA Bootcamp (with Variety Ireland as his nominated charity of choice) and Celebrity Masterchef.Kamal is a presenter on the National Lottery and has made several documentaries for Irish television.
