Variety honours legendary tenor Edmund Browne

On 24th March 2009 The Variety Club of Ireland Children’s Charity honoured the legendary Tenor Edmund Browne. We were delighted to hear his great voice as he sang and danced like a two year old.

Soprano Anne Marie Smith was a super complement to this wonderful occasion where we were all lifted by her amazing singing and warm personality. Edmund was there with is lovely wife of 50 years and family as well as a large group of friends including Sonny Knowles, Brian Hoey, Tony Kenny, Mary Sheridan De Brun, Pete St. John and many others. We would like to thank everyone involved most sincerely for making this day a special for Edmund. The Variety Club were proud to honour him.
