Santa Stroll 2009

On a crisp cool clear December morning Santa came to Town to meet the Children from Irish Autism Action, St. Michael’s House, St. Joseph’s School for the Visually Impaired and supporters - for the annual event organised by The Variety Club of Ireland, Children’s Charity.

There were two Garda Mounties who brought great excitement and joy to the children as we strolled around St. Stephen’s Green, Santa caps on top. Santa rang his bell and lots of children had a chance to ring Santa’s bell to to herald in Christmas.

It ended under the arch in St. Stephen Green with a massive Ho Ho Ho from everybody and presents were distributed from Santa. It was a super day and the large crowd who attended really enjoyed the traditional Christmas Santa Stroll around St. Stephen’s Green.

We wish to thank all who attended, and St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre for hosting our event on Sunday December 6th. We look forward to next year!
