Boat for Hope

The 27th June 2010 was a memorable and moving day for Variety Tent 41. It was the day we launched Ireland’s first National Boat for Hope, and idea presented by Tent 47, Vancouver BC at a previous convention.

Young Variety Raise Money for Children of Haiti

Variety Award to Honour Jim Bartley
On May 29th 2009 Variety Club of ireland were privileged to honour Ireland’s own great Jim Bartley from Fair City. Our Lord Mayor Eibhlin Byrne presented the Variety Award honouring Jim for 50 years in entertainment at this special event in the Mansion House... more info!
Variety honours legendary tenor Edmund Browne

On 24th March 2009 The Variety Club of Ireland Children’s Charity honoured the legendary Tenor Edmund Browne. We were delighted to hear his great voice as he sang and danced like a two year old.

Variety Pays Tribute to Entertainer Joe Cuddy

Brian Hoey Receives Variety Award
Brian Hoey a great Irish Tenor received the Variety Award at the Sutton Golf Club in October 2007. On this occasion he was accompanied by his lovely wife Mary and their two daughters who were proud to see their Father being awarded for his lifetime work in the area of entertainment for 50 years and richly deserved.... more info!
